jagasari adventure
“trek, swim & cycle”
We have created an exclusive tour that will provide an insight into a day in the life of the Balinese people with the fun of trekking, cycling and a swim in a spring fed pool at a beautiful small waterfall.

Our journey start’s at one of Bali’s most important and ancient temples Jagasari. We will walk from Jagasari for around 1 hour where our experienced guide will escort you through temples and rice-fields rarely seen by tourists.

The temples, while perhaps not being the most decorative, have played a significant role in the development of present day Balinese culture.
Trekking through beautiful rice terraces we will also see the ancient Subak irrigation system acknowledged as the oldest system in the World. En-route we will visit an authentic Balinese family compound, where you will be able to speak to local villagers and experience traditional activities such as: harvesting coffee, rice, and chocolate.

We depart the village by bike to visit the Alas Paiguman temple, before arriving at Manukaya village. Here we will dismount and walk to a small water shrine where you will be able to swim
in the spring fed pools.

The three hour village trekking & biking journey will end at the most picturesque section of the village of Laplapan, where you will be treated to an excellent lunch in our river view
restaurant with stunning views.

The trekking and biking is for old and young alike, some of the trails we follow you may find challenging however your guide is always there to assist. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn about the history of the development of the Balinese Hinduism, enjoy beautiful scenery and experience Balinese life first hand.
